Brian R. Evers, Registered Piano Technician of the Piano Technicians Guild, committed to providing high quality piano service for the past 17 years.

A prior occupation was working in Aircraft Maintenance where, a strong mechanical aptitude along with, strict repair and service guidelines must be upheld.

Training as a Piano Technician started in 1998 by taking the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology course. This course stresses not only tuning of pianos, but also mechanical repairs and adjustments as part of proper upkeep.

Brian joined the Piano Technicians Guild in 1999 as further training is available through seminars, conferences, conventions, literature, and other technician's presentations. Use www.ptg.org to find out what tests must be passed to become a Registered Piano Technician. He also has worked as subcontractor for other technicians and is learning about piano rebuilding from a local shop.

Brian currently volunteers to help as officer with the Midwest Regional Conference Organization and officer for the local PTG chapter. (both separate entities, but part of the Piano Technicians Guild)
