Piano Services Available:

  • Tuning – (including as needed) check and tighten bench leg hardware, check music rack, tighten pinblock screws, tighten plate perimeter rim bolts (grands), check and adjust pedals.

  • Pitch Adjustment – for pianos that have not been serviced recently or are not at standard A440hz concert pitch. Pianos not tuned to A440 can't be played with other instruments and recordings that are standard pitch. (slight deviation is acceptable) Use link below for further explanation.

  • Repairs – broken/worn parts repair or replacement.

  • Regulation – adjustment for proper mechanical function. Use link below for further explanation.

  • Cleaning – vacuum inside, clean dirty keys, clean sound board (under strings) of grand pianos.

  • Reconditioning – (not rebuilding) hammer reshaping, felt and leather replacement, parts replacement. Can arrange to subcontract professional rebuilding of high end pianos. Use link below for further explanation of differences in definitions.

  • Minor Finish Touch up – using stain pens and scratch cover products. Can arrange to subcontract polyester repairs and some refinishing.

  • Electronic Player Systems – troubleshooting and repair of PianoDisc and Disklavier systems. Can arrange to subcontract professional installation of PianoDisc electronic player systems.

  • Voicing – tone adjustment. (tinny, bright, mellow, rich) Use link below for further explanation.

  • Evaluations – have a technician evaluate a piano before you purchase.

  • Moving – can arrange to subcontract professional moving.
